What is Politika?
Politika is a peer-reviewed bilingual publication at the University of Ottawa. It is a subsidiary of the International, Political and Policy Studies Student Association.
Our main goal is to give undergraduate students hands-on experience on publishing and to allow them to take part in academic conversations in the field of politics.
We publish academic articles and commentary on topics related to International affairs, Politics, Policies or Political philosophy.
Our Partner
Politika is a subsidiary of the International, Political and Policy Studies Student Association (IPPSSA), which represents undergraduate students in political science, public administration, international studies and modern languages at the University of Ottawa. The Politika leadership team works in proximity with, but independently of, the University administration.
Politika operations are managed by IPPSSA and the publication is supervised by IPPSSA's appointed Director of Special Portfolio. The committee consists of students with diverse academic and professional experiences who volunteer their time to manage the publication.
Most importantly, we depend on and are grateful to student contributors who make Politika what it is.
